Bronx Apiary Visit
Join RA Jarett on a trip up to the Bronx to visit an apiary.
What's an apiary?!?! Well, basically, it's a controlled environment in which bees live, work and make honey.
We will take a walk through the flower garden, take tea with the beekeeper, talk about beekeeping and the mysterious decline of bees...and of course try different types of honey!! All you will need is a Metrocard.
We will leave Goddard Lobby @ 11am on Saturday, Oct. 4. First word will be sent to the 5th Floor. It is limited to the first 25 students who confirm their interest/presence, so please bee (yes, a pun!) timely if you want a spot!! The sign up sheet will be next to my door, Rm. 501.
