Come watch V For Vendetta THIS FRIDAY, 11/21, in the Goddard Classroom!

We will begin the movie at 5pm. Afterwards, we will discuss freedom, revolution, symbol, and whatever else comes up in conversation! Everyone is welcome!

Writing New York Event!!

Thursday, November 13th @ 7pm in the classroom...Meet two AMAZING writers living and working in New York City: Rachel Shukert and Chuck Wachtel.

Come listen to their work, ask them questions, and get great writing tips on anything from fiction, poetry, screenwriting, essays, or publishing. Pick their brains! And eat some FREE snacks while you're at it!

Join the 5th Floor at their floor event to support NYU's ice hockey team as they battle the University of Connecticut. RA Jarett will lead a group to Chelsea Piers' Sky Rink to watch the match. The group will meet at 7:30pm in the 5th Floor Hallway. Please be on time...and ready to cheer!

“No Agua, No Vida”: The Colorado River—A Photo Exhibit

Join us this coming Tuesday for the opening reception to photojournalist John Trotter’s illuminating photo essay on the impact of policy and environmental changes on the Colorado River and its neighboring populations, “No Agua, No Vida.” The award-winning photographer will answer questions about his extensive work documenting the region.

Date: Tuesday, November 11^th

Time: Meet in Goddard Lobby at 5:15pm, program begins at 5:30pm

You are invited to come watch the cult film "Trainspotting" TODAY! Thursday, November 6, at 8:00 PM in the Goddard Classroom 203.

Be prepared for some tough Scottish accents, heroin needles, dead babies, and yes... maybe even a little bit of hope in the end.

This is the first film we will be watching as part of the Leadership Through Film series.
